"Insecticide Soup"  inspired the book?

My house was a huge A-Frame lodge next to Bonita Studios.

It was cool. Huge pine tree out my second-story balconey added a Vail, Colorado flavor to my environment.

I kept the door locked because I rented out the other upstairs room.

I kept a legal pad screwed to my door so that anyone could leave me a message.

It was late. Real late.

I was buzzed.

I remember thinking to myself, 'you're buzzed.'

I picked up the pen hanging on my door to it's affixed string -- and began writing the poem, "Insecticide Soup." It just flowed out. No pun intended.

When I tried to figure out where the hell this dark poem about the end of the world came from -- I discovered how my poetry reflected my life.

As I reached the next level of each stage of my maturity, I am compelled to want to go back and 'improve' or edit my writing from my NEW IMPROVED ABILITIES.

However, I decided to let my poems represent the phases of my life, my immaturities and my insights.
